I am a therapist using a psychodynamic approach to help both individuals and couples navigate trauma, grief and loss, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I support people facing a range of stressors — caregiving, illness, identity exploration, emotional overwhelm — and I have significant experience working with LGBTQ+ individuals and couples, offering affirming, relational care. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves and their relationships while building insight, emotional resilience, and meaningful change.
I came to therapeutic work after twenty years as a documentary photographer and artist. That work was rooted in close collaboration and deep listening—building visual narratives about people, relationships, and lived experience. It brought me into intimate proximity with both hardship and joy, and taught me how to stay present with complexity and vulnerability. That same curiosity about people and connection is what ultimately led me into psychotherapy, where I continue to do that work in a different, more relational form.
